How does it work?

With JUMP! On Demand you have the freedom to get the latest smartphone anytime you like. One low monthly payment covers the cost of a new smartphone and gives you the freedom to upgrade absolutely anytime you like, up to 3x per year, at no extra cost. Here’s how it works:

  1. Get a new smartphone with JUMP! On Demand for zero upfront out-of-pocket with approved credit (applies to base model of device only).
  2. Whenever you want to upgrade, simply bring in the last phone you got with JUMP! On Demand for a quick three-point check-up to ensure it’s in working order and swap it out for a new one.
  3. Rinse and repeat anytime—tomorrow, next week or next month—up to three times a year.
Do I need to be on a specific service plan to qualify for JUMP! On Demand?

Any customer on a postpaid Simple Choice rate plan with qualifying credit can get a new smartphone with JUMP! On Demand. (Simple Choice No Credit plans are not included.)

How can I order a phone on JUMP! On Demand if I can’t get it on
  • JUMP! On Demand is currently only available in stores and on the phone. We can help existing JUMP! On Demand customers place their JUMP! On Demand orders at 1-800-937-8997 or in a T-Mobile retail store.
  • If you don’t yet have a phone with JUMP! On Demand, please call 1-877-413-5903 or visit a T-Mobile retail store.
  • After placing your order, you will receive an email requiring an eSignature within 48 hours.
  • If you already have a phone with JUMP! On Demand, once you receive your new phone, just be sure to come to a T-Mobile store to turn in your previous phone. Otherwise, you’ll have two phone payments until you return the previous phone. JUMP! On Demand returns can only be done in a T-Mobile store.
I am a JUMP! customer who wants to move to JUMP! On Demand, how do I do that?
  • You can move from JUMP! to JUMP! On Demand when you’ve paid off your current phone, and any trade-in value can help cover any outstanding payments – or help reduce future payments.
  • You can also call 1-800-937-8997 or visit a local store to place a preorder.
Do I have to go into my local T-Mobile store to trade-in my current device and upgrade with JUMP! On Demand?

All customers need to bring their current device into their local T-Mobile store for a three-point check-up and to trade-in.

How often can I upgrade?

As often as you’d like, up to 3 times per year.

What if I want to keep my phone instead of trading it in?

All of your payments count toward the phone cost, and if you want to keep your smartphone, simply pay the remaining JUMP! On Demand payments and residual purchase amount.

What if I am a T-Mobile customer and have an EIP balance on my current phone?

With JUMP! you have two options when you’re ready to upgrade. You can use your JUMP! upgrade, we’ll cover up to 50% of your original device cost and you keep all the benefits that come with your current JUMP! program. Or, you can pay off any remaining balance on your current smartphone before you make the move to JUMP! On Demand. You may trade in your device and apply its value towards the remaining EIP balance.

What happens to the existing JUMP! program?

JUMP! will continue to be available for customers who prefer that option.
